The United States’ neighbor to the north has reason to celebrate: Pokémon Go is officially out in Canada

The border-crossing mobile game sensation has slowly but steadily crept into an increasing number of markets since it launched on July 6. Canada has been a notable holdout, with frustrated Canadians resorting to borrowed app store account details from their U.S.-based friends.

No longer. While fans in China, Japan and a number of other locations — including France, where the app’s release is delayed following the terror attack in Nice — don’t have it yet, Pokémon Go is officially live and ready to plague Canadian fans with its many server disconnects.
